Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and AlAbdali Tech ("we", "us"), operator of ChunkyMonkey at chunkymonkey.io. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use ChunkyMonkey on behalf of a company, you accept them for that company.
2. The service
ChunkyMonkey turns long videos into short clips, generates AI avatar videos from scripts, and can publish content to social accounts you connect. Features marked "coming soon" are not part of the paid service until released. We may improve or change the service over time.
3. Your content and ownership
You keep all rights to the videos, audio, scripts and brand assets you upload, and to the clips and avatar videos generated from them. You grant us a limited license to host, process and transform that content solely to provide the service — for example, cutting clips, adding captions, applying your watermark, generating avatar video, and posting where you direct us to. We do not use your content to train AI models or for marketing without your permission.
4. Your responsibilities
You must own or have the necessary rights to any content you upload or link, including videos you repurpose. You are responsible for what you publish through connected accounts, and for complying with the rules of those platforms (YouTube, X). You may not use ChunkyMonkey to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive (including impersonation via AI avatars), or that violates another person's rights, including their likeness or voice.
5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe content processed or published through ChunkyMonkey infringes your copyright, send a notice with the identifying details, your contact information and a good-faith statement to [contact email — TBD]. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
6. Plans, billing and refunds
Free accounts can try the service with limited, watermarked output. Paid plans (Creator, Pro, Business) are billed monthly or yearly in advance and include a monthly job allowance as described on the pricing page; unused jobs do not roll over. You can cancel at any time — cancellation stops future billing and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. All fees are non-refundable. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
7. Connected accounts
Connecting YouTube or X authorizes us to publish the specific content you choose to post. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored token. Use of YouTube is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.
8. AI-generated content
Avatar videos and AI-selected clips are generated by machine-learning systems and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing it. Some platforms require you to disclose synthetic or AI-generated media — complying with those requirements is your responsibility.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create legal risk. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that results (such as virality scores) will translate into actual performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we will post updates here and note the date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
