Auto-Reframe
Automatically re-cropping a landscape video to vertical while keeping the speaker or action centered.
Auto-reframe uses AI to track the important part of the frame — usually a face or moving subject — and re-crop a 16:9 video to 9:16 so nothing important falls outside the taller frame. It replaces the tedious manual keyframing you'd otherwise do to reposition the crop as the subject moves.
It's what lets a repurposing tool turn a horizontal podcast recording into a properly framed vertical clip automatically.
